About The Position

Lakes Gas is a family-owned propane provider with a strong presence in the Midwest, operating with a local feel across its many locations. The Seasonal Painter position involves the maintenance and inspection of company properties, with a primary focus on painting tanks. This role also includes general maintenance projects, filling cylinders, and ensuring the upkeep of company plants. The successful candidate must adhere to company policies, procedures, DOT regulations, and state/local laws, while also complying with N.F.P.A. Pamphlets 54 and 58. This is a seasonal, non-exempt, hourly position typically running from March through October.

Requirements

Capable of working in extreme temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions as the majority of the job functions are outdoors in the elements.
Communicate clearly both written and verbally in the English language.
Valid Driver's License.
Able to adjust schedule to fit manager’s requirements and requests or seasonal weather patterns.
Dependability and reliability are essential.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand the English language to understand task procedures, product labels, work orders, informational and warning signage.
