About The Position

This hands-on role assists truck drivers with loading, unloading, packing, and moving furniture safely and efficiently. This requires pushing, lifting, and carrying, office or residential furniture. This is a very physical position that requires stamina, attention to detail, and a strong team-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• No school/work experience required-- just a willingness to learn and work hard.
• Must complete UVL Packer and Mover Certification training which will be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, pack, and unpack furniture and cartons.
• Carry furniture in and out of offices or residences.
• Lift 50–100 lbs. (up to 400 lbs. with a team).
• Push 50–100 lbs. on 4-wheel dollies and push 300 lb. loaded carts.
• Navigate stairs and tight spaces.
• Work on your feet for 6–10 hours daily.
• Wrap and pad furniture.
• Help with paperwork.
• Ensure all items are handled with care to avoid damage.
• Adapt to varying job conditions, including weather and varying temperatures.
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
