This role is responsible for providing SMART customer service and executing Lowe's customer service policies. The associate will build relationships with vendors, communicate project priorities, and analyze metrics to provide feedback on project execution. While the majority of time will not involve direct customer interaction, the associate is expected to assist customers when opportunities arise, including helping them locate, demonstrate, select, carry, and load merchandise. The role also involves understanding customer needs, responding to questions, and communicating product information. Key responsibilities include moving and replacing fixtures, rotating stock, building and displaying products according to instructions, identifying and handling damaged products, verifying buyback items, and ensuring pricing and signage are accurate and visible. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe store environment, including removing trash, repairing packaging, replacing light bulbs, and reporting maintenance issues. Security awareness and adherence to housekeeping standards are also important. The role requires operating store equipment and performing other duties as assigned, such as maintaining point-of-sale signage and auditing pricing labels.
