About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Sales Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience practices, and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is seasonal and located at the HomeGoods store at 9366 State Road 16 Ste 200, Onalaska, Wisconsin. Starting pay is $14.00 to $14.50 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
