About The Position

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Merchandise Booth Cashier to join the Merchandise team for EDC Orlando 2026. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance music and customer service, with a love for the merchandising space. This role involves handling customer transactions, maintaining booth organization, and ensuring a positive fan experience at one of the world's leading music festivals.

Requirements

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Must have great customer service skills.
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
• Basic math and counting skills are required.
• General knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows.
• Travel is required to and from work location; lodging is not provided.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.

Responsibilities

• Handle merchandise purchase transactions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products before completing transactions.
• Count all product received at the beginning of the shift.
• Count out all product at the end of the show.
• Help set up the merchandise booth and product displays according to management guidance.
• Input correct products into the cash register or Point of Sale (POS) system for accurate inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service and relations.
• Help maintain booth cleanliness and organization throughout the festival.
• Follow all safety and theft prevention procedures.
• Execute day-to-day tasks as needed.
