The Department of Mental Health (DMH) Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital (WRCH) is seeking a dynamic candidate to provide direct care and/or assist in the direct care skills of the activities of daily living (ADL) for persons served in an inpatient setting. This role involves assisting in the implementation of habilitative/rehabilitative, behavioral, and recreational treatment plans by relaying information and input to the treatment team. The position exemplifies the DMH commitment to a culture of safety. This is a short-term seasonal position expected to begin in November and end in January/February, not exceeding 90 consecutive days, and is not eligible for benefits. The selected candidate will work the 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with variable days off and required weekend availability. Mandatory overtime will be required.
