About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is essential for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our resort property. This role includes responding to work order requests, performing general maintenance tasks, and assisting with property upkeep, all while maintaining a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting guests throughout Snowmass Village and/or to the Aspen airport using a transit van. This position requires strong driving skills, a good understanding of traffic laws, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. We are looking for one full time year-round person and a seasonal person to bring onto the team!

Requirements

  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Understanding of hand and power tools; basic mechanical skills in plumbing, electrical, and repairs.
  • Professional approach to maintenance requests from guests and owners.
  • Available to work holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, prioritize tasks, and manage workflow.
  • Collaborate effectively with co-workers and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Able to read safety rules, operating instructions, and write routine reports.
  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational training.
  • Relevant experience in maintenance or related fields is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and document associate and guest work order requests promptly.
  • Conduct maintenance in guest units, common areas, and equipment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Work closely with maintenance associates to support property upkeep and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform regular safety and maintenance inspections, addressing repairs as needed.
  • Complete maintenance checklists and maintain logs for pools, spas, ice, and snow removal.
  • Conduct routine inspections and repairs on building systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain clear records of tasks on daily timesheets and work orders.
  • Update management promptly regarding incomplete tasks or unsafe conditions.
  • Transport guests throughout Snowmass Village and/or to the Aspen airport using a transit van.
