About The Position

The Seasonal Loss Prevention Specialist will play a critical role in protecting inventory integrity and reducing shrink across Fanatics fulfillment operations. The role is responsible for overseeing physical security and shrink reduction programs within their assigned Fanatics Fulfillment Center, collaborating with operations, human resources, and support teams to mitigate inventory losses and safeguard bottom-line profitability. Working closely with the Loss Prevention Supervisor, the Seasonal LPS conducts investigations, manages security staff, and leverages CCTV and exception reporting to identify and address risk across the facility. The Seasonal Loss Prevention Specialist delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable loss prevention experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution center, or fulfillment environment.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) interview and interrogation certification preferred; LPQ or LPC designation preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct internal and external loss investigations with sound judgment and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and comfort leveraging CCTV systems and exception-based reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence interfacing with site leaders, law enforcement, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong ability to multitask, self-manage, and proactively reprioritize focus areas in response to evolving operational needs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, walk and/or stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Loss Prevention Supervisor to execute daily, weekly, and monthly LP metrics and reports, ensuring consistent visibility into shrink performance across the facility.
  • Manage on-site security staff and coordinate physical security programs, promoting best practices and accountability at every level of the operation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, human resources, and other support teams to align loss prevention strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Foster a loss prevention-rich environment that inspires a culture of shrink awareness and commitment across all facility team members.
  • Verify inventory integrity within the fulfillment center to ensure fans receive accurate, complete, and on-time orders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies, handling escalations with professionalism and discretion to protect the facility and its people.
  • Handle all confidential information with the highest level of integrity, maintaining the trust of both colleagues and organizational leadership.
  • Utilize CCTV surveillance and exception reports to proactively identify shrink drivers and implement data-informed mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into internal and external losses, applying structured methodologies to uncover root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify, promote, and implement physical security best practices, continuously evaluating existing programs for opportunities to improve effectiveness without hindering operations.
  • Recommend and implement new loss prevention programs and processes as emerging risks and operational patterns demand.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and shrink data analyses to identify areas of vulnerability and drive measurable improvement across the facility.
  • Keep safety a top priority by monitoring behavior, reporting unusual activity, and escalating potential safety concerns or threats immediately.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to support operational demands during peak seasons, demonstrating reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
  • Work independently with minimal or off-site supervision, exercising strong self-management and sound judgment in dynamic, high-pressure situations.
