About The Position

The Seasonal Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming fruit loads, coordinating truck traffic logistics, and ensuring accurate load tracking and traceability throughout operations. This role oversees the Weighmaster and Fruit Analyst functions, supports efficient movement of raw materials, and maintains accurate operational records. The Seasonal Logistics Coordinator works closely with production, transportation partners, and site leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Corto Harvest is a 24/7 operation from mid-October to early December so the ability to work any shift, at least 6 days per week, is required and a willingness to work up to 12 hours if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Executing assigned duties in accordance with established work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, reaction plans, and operational requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete traceability records for olive loads, olive oil, and byproducts throughout all stages of the production process.
  • Receiving, monitoring, and assigning olive loads to production lines and storage casks based on production schedules, operational priorities, and capacity requirements.
  • Coordinating load movements with Milling Supervisors, Team Leads, and transportation providers to support safe, efficient, and timely production operations.
  • Conducting outbound phone and email communications to monitor and track the status of inbound deliveries, outbound shipments, and transportation activities.
  • Verifying the accuracy and integrity of load data through routine reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Partnering with the Milling Supervisor to identify, communicate, document, and appropriately manage out-of-specification loads in accordance with quality and operational standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving logistics, inventory, scheduling, and equipment-related issues that may impact safety, product quality, production continuity, or operational efficiency.
  • Adhering to all company safety policies, procedures, food safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Participating in required safety and compliance training and promptly reporting unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or work practices.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, process effectiveness, and data accuracy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
