About The Position

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is currently seeking a Seasonal Lifeguard at our Springbrook Apartments in Rome, NY. Our company continues to grow and expand, providing us with the opening for new talent!

Requirements

Must possess a valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate and American Red Cross First Aid certificate.
Must be certified in American Red Cross Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), for the Professional Rescuer or become certified within 30 days of employment.
Must be a skilled swimmer and able to pull weight through the water.
Must be physically able to rescue someone drowning or injured in the water.
Excellent observational skills.
Excellent communications skills, confident, positive attitude, and the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
Must be able to pass a 3-year background check.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

Regulate conduct of pool patrons by enforcing pool policies, rules, and regulations.
Rescue patrons in emergency need, including the proper use of equipment in the performance of first aid.
Test water quality in pool and maintain appropriate records.
Assist in the proper maintenance and sanitary upkeep of the pool, pool area, and locker rooms.
Participate in the preparation of daily records.
Provide written reports on all accidents.
Maintain proper updated safety requirements.
Perform work safely in accordance with departmental safety procedures.
Operate equipment safely and report any unsafe work conditions or practices to supervisor.
