About The Position

Galbraith’s Landscaping & Lawn Care is seeking dependable, hardworking Seasonal Lawn Aeration Technicians to join our team during the fall aeration season. This is a fast-paced, outdoor position focused primarily on completing residential and commercial lawn aeration services safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Technicians will operate professional aeration equipment, follow scheduled routes, communicate property concerns, and make sure each lawn receives thorough and consistent coverage. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, can work independently, and wants the opportunity to work substantial hours during a busy seasonal period.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record a must
  • Dependable transportation to work
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
  • Strong attendance and dependability
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow routes, instructions, and property notes
  • Willingness to work longer days when weather and workload require it.
  • Applicants must be able to: Walk for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Operate heavy lawn equipment safely
  • Work on hills, slopes, and uneven terrain
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Work outdoors in heat, cool temperatures, light rain, and changing fall weather
  • Work efficiently while maintaining service quality

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lawn care, landscaping, mowing, or equipment-operation experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform core aeration on residential and commercial lawns
  • Safely operate walk-behind and/or ride-on aeration equipment
  • Follow assigned daily routes and service schedules
  • Complete properties within established production times
  • Provide thorough and consistent aeration coverage
  • Identify and avoid sprinkler heads, landscape lighting, invisible fencing, utility structures, and other property obstacles
  • Review property notes and instructions before beginning service
  • Properly mark or document any property concerns
  • Load, unload, and secure aeration equipment
  • Perform basic daily equipment inspections and maintenance
  • Report mechanical problems promptly
  • Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized
  • Communicate completed services and property concerns to the office or supervisor
  • Maintain professional behavior while working on customer properties
  • Follow all company safety procedures
  • Assist with overseeding or other seasonal lawn services when needed
