About The Position
Four Seasons is seeking a talented Seasonal Laundry Driver/Laundry Attendant to join their team and contribute to the reopening of their newly remodeled resort in Santa Barbara. This role involves daily linen deliveries and pickups using a 10-foot delivery truck, ensuring safe and timely service across multiple client locations in the Santa Barbara area. The position also requires assisting with laundry production when not making deliveries, with the role split approximately 40% driving and 60% laundry duties. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years driving experience.
- Excellent driving record.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Vast knowledge of the Santa Barbara area and road network.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day.
- Current work authorization in the United States.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing and people-oriented personality.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a great team player.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of commercial laundry is strongly preferred.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily linen deliveries and pickups using a 10-foot delivery truck, ensuring safe and timely service across multiple client locations in the Santa Barbara area.
- Skilled in loading and unloading linen bins efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols and operational standards.
- Assist with laundry production when not making deliveries.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Report immediately any fines received.
- Keep driving record clean and report any changes immediately.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition and clean it when is necessary.
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
- Excellent communication with customers.
- Present delivery forms.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against manifest.
- Report delays, accidents or other traffic and transportation to manager using telephones when not driving.
- Maintain updated registration and insurance in vehicle.
- Fill up Vehicle with Diesel every time reaching ¼ of the fuel tank.
- Assist with driving the Vehicle to maintenance service when required.
- Follow the delivery and pick up schedule and modified when requested by supervisor/manager according with business requirements.
- Perform any other function required by hotel and laundry leadership team.
