About The Position

Ryan Lawn & Tree is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company seeking a Seasonal Landscape crew member. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and potentially transition into a permanent position with great benefits based on performance and company needs. The team helps keep St. Louis beautiful by performing landscape plant and bed maintenance on residential and commercial properties. This includes pruning trees and shrubs, mulching, weeding, cutbacks, planting, and cleanups on a regular schedule. Crew members work well independently and on a team, care for customer properties, and interact professionally with customers, communicating the process and expectations of services. They also receive on-the-job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services and recommendations for other RYAN services as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required
• Must be able to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat.
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day
• All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in landscape plant and bed maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
• Pruning trees and shrubs, mulching, weeding, cutbacks, planting and clean ups on a regular schedule.
• Work well independently as well as on a team while caring for customer properties.
• Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services.
• Continue on the job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services along with recommendations for other RYAN services as needed on their property.

• Full-time or part-time seasonal employment with starting hourly pay depending on experience, plus overtime (Overtime is compensated for at 1.5x the regular hourly rate for all hours worked beyond 40 per week)
