Requirements

• Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is a strong asset.
• Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting.
• Road patrol, debris removal, culvert clean out, sign repair and installation, bridge washing/clearing, and brushing.
• Assist with traffic control procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Perform other road maintenance duties as required.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
