About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role supports daily plant operations, including material handling and site housekeeping. It involves assisting with equipment cleaning, maintenance support, and basic troubleshooting, while strictly following all safety protocols and contributing to a safe work environment. The position also includes loading, unloading, and transporting materials as directed by supervisors, and performing general labor tasks to support production and operational goals.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment
- Strong reliability, work ethic, and ability to follow instructions
- Capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime when needed
