About The Position
The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks qualified applicants for Seasonal Laborer I. Seasonal Laborers perform and assist with a variety of duties in connection with conservation and maintenance work including, but not limited to, grounds and facility maintenance work including cutting grass, raking leaves, watering, painting, rubbish removal, beautification of parks, campgrounds, and reservations, beaches and facilities.
Requirements
- A resume must be submitted as part of the application process for this position.
- Possess a current and valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License (based on assignment).
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with a variety of duties in connection with conservation and maintenance work.
- Grounds and facility maintenance work including cutting grass, raking leaves, watering, painting, rubbish removal, beautification of parks, campgrounds, and reservations, beaches and facilities.
- Use a variety of hand tools.
- Operate motor vehicles and light trucks including loading and unloading of supplies, equipment, etc.
- Greet and assist park visitors and provide information about the facility.
- Collect fees.
- Perform other related duties as required.
