About The Position

This role is a seasonal part-time position responsible for opening and closing the store, managing the cash register, assisting customers, managing sales, and ensuring the store is organized. Go! Requirements

One year of retail experience (or experience related in this field)
Enthusiasm about being an impactful and innovative leader
Self-motivated, passionate about the work you put out, lead with optimism and a solution-oriented mindset
High integrity, accountability, reliability, and responsible individual who is open to feedback
Create an exciting shopping experience by staying connected with the customer needs
Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention
Basic computer skills, POS system and Microsoft office
Able to perform basic math functions
Flexible and strives in fast paced environment
Attention to detail

Responsibilities

Opening and/or closing the store as scheduled
Preparing cash bank at opening
Preparing and making nightly cash deposits at closing
Completing opening or closing checklist for every shift
Greeting every customer on entry
Executing Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity
Offering current promotions and special offers
Operating the Point of Sale system accurately
Providing comprehensive service by utilizing calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders
Maintaining a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards, engages your consumer, and stimulates them to buy
Receiving and placing new shipments
Resetting features and promotions as directed
Completing regular housekeeping tasks
