About The Position

Martin/Martin Wyoming, Inc. is excited to announce an opportunity for a seasonal intern to join our Structural Engineering team. Each project presents unique challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer. The successful candidate will develop expertise in a broad range of civil engineering services. Works on discipline specific tasks (i.e. accounting, engineering, marketing) assigned by supervisor. Position is seasonal, with most work occurring during the summer, and aimed at college-level students to develop experience in a specific discipline. Martin/Martin Wyoming is a Cheyenne-based civil and structural engineering firm with more than 30 years of experience serving Wyoming and the surrounding region. Our locally educated team, all University of Wyoming graduates, provides early career engineers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to learn while working on real projects designed for the unique conditions of the Mountain West.

Requirements

High school diploma
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering, having completed at least a junior-level program Engineering
Ability to commute and work in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area
Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Attention to detail
Eager to learn
Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
