About The Position

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking outstanding engineering students to join our Structural Engineering Group as summer interns at our Bentonville, Arkansas office. This opportunity will focus mainly on new building structural design, but interns may also have the chance to gain experience in technical research, renovation of existing buildings, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). During a typical work week, interns work on engineering calculations, developing drawings, visiting sites, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and supporting internal technical projects. Our projects are mainly located in Arkansas, but we also extend our support to clients around the nation.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Civil or Architectural Engineering, having completed at least a junior-level program
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work in the Bentonville, AR area.
• Eager to learn
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
