About The Position

Logan Health Medical Center has an opportunity for a Seasonal RN to join their team on night shift! This is a unique opportunity to advance your nursing career with a full-time commitment for 13 weeks in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment. As a Seasonal RN in our ICU, you'll care for critically ill patients with life-threatening conditions such as sepsis, multi-organ failure, ARDS, and complex post-operative complications. You'll also work with advanced life-support systems, including ventilators, CRRT, and ECMO, while gaining invaluable experience managing patients with acute trauma, advanced cardiac care, and neurocritical conditions. Located in scenic Northwest Montana, our facility is just minutes from Glacier National Park, two ski resorts, and the iconic Flathead Lake, Kalispell. With over 500 lakes in the region and hundreds of miles of scenic hiking trails, it’s the perfect setting for nature lovers, weekend adventurers, and families alike. Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position required.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.
  • ACLS and NIHSS must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Open Heart nursing experience is preferred.

  • Provide advanced, patient-centered care to the most critically ill individuals using your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes and ensure patient safety.
  • Support and educate patients' families during highly stressful and emotional situations, acting as a vital resource for understanding treatment plans.
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to deteriorating patient conditions in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring the highest standard of care for critically ill patients.
