About The Position
Shine of Minnetonka is hiring a few Seasonal Christmas Light Installers to join their team for the busy holiday lighting season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and taking pride in creating Christmas displays. The company provides paid training, and prior experience in holiday lighting, roofing, landscaping, construction, or window cleaning is a plus and can lead to higher earnings. The position involves working with a small crew to install professional Christmas light displays on homes and businesses in the western Twin Cities, including working from ladders and roofs, setting up and troubleshooting lighting, and providing customer service. The season runs from September through December, with potential for year-round employment for top performers.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check
- Able to lift and carry ladders and equipment
- Able to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders/roofs
- Reliable and punctual
- Adhere to company policies regarding substance use and workplace conduct
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Enjoy physical work and being outdoors
- Work well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Coachable and motivated to improve

Responsibilities
- Installing Christmas lights along rooflines, peaks and other areas of homes and businesses
- Installing lights on trees, wreaths, garland and other holiday décor
- Working safely from ladders and on roofs
- Setting up, testing and troubleshooting lighting displays
- Working efficiently with your crew to complete multiple jobs each day
- Providing friendly, professional service to our customers
- Removing and organizing holiday lighting at the end of the season
