About The Position
1-800-Flowers.com is hosting a seasonal hiring event for multiple opportunities at their Obetz, OH and Groveport, OH facilities. Candidates can attend the event to meet with the Talent Acquisition team, learn about open positions, and interview on-site. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 6201 Green Pointe Dr. S., Suite 200, Groveport, OH 43125. Open positions include Seasonal Gift Production Associates (1st & 2nd Shift), Seasonal Warehouse Forklift Drivers (1st Shift), and Seasonal Freezer Drivers (1st & 2nd Shift). 2nd Shift Gift Production is only available at the Obetz facility. Pay ranges from $15.50 to $23.00 per hour, depending on the position and experience. Qualified candidates may start as soon as Wednesday, September 30th, 2026. Candidates for Warehouse Forklift Driver and Freezer Driver positions should be prepared for an on-site interview with a supervisor. Applicants who receive an offer are encouraged to bring necessary documentation for Form I-9 completion to expedite the process.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for production positions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for warehouse and driver positions.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer environments, depending on the position.
- Forklift experience is required for Warehouse Forklift Driver and Freezer Driver positions.
- Must be willing to work assigned shifts and overtime as business needs require.
- Must successfully complete the pre-employment hiring process and provide documentation required to complete the federal Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, if an offer of employment is extended.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience operating double-reach forklifts, stock pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scan guns is preferred for Freezer Driver positions.
