About The Position
McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics is shaping the future of patient care, disease prevention, and biomedical discovery by transforming data into innovative solutions powered by artificial intelligence, data science, and informatics. We are the only biomedical informatics program with advanced doctoral degrees in Texas and the largest and only free-standing informatics school in the nation. Seasonal Hires are a temporary status and therefore may not be employed for a period of more than four and ½ months. These individuals may be hired either as full-time or part-time and must be a minimum age of 16 years. What we do here changes the world. UTHealth Houston is Texas’ resource for healthcare education, innovation, scientific discovery, and excellence in patient care. That’s where you come in.
Requirements
- Individuals must be a minimum age of 16 years.
- Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities
- Assist with research, technical, and project-management activities.
- Conduct literature searches and summarize relevant evidence.
- Collect, organize, clean, and validate quantitative or qualitative data.
- Support basic data analysis and visualization.
- Assist with dashboards, websites, databases, surveys, or other digital tools.
- Test digital applications and document usability or technical issues.
- Prepare presentations, reports, tables, figures, and project documentation.
- Maintain organized records, shared files, and data dictionaries.
- Participate in team meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Complete other related duties based on seasonal project needs.
