About The Position
Our Herd Test Technicians use LIC vehicles to deliver and install Herd Testing equipment in dairy sheds throughout the region. They then return the following day to collect the completed samples and equipment. This is a fast-paced role which requires excellent time management skills and physical strength as handling heavy equipment is a must. Working in the Hawera region, this is a short-term role to cover the seasonal peak for around 9 months. The role will suit individuals who love being outdoors and have flexibility with their working hours.
Requirements
- Familiarity with milking sheds.
- Reasonable level of fitness and physical strength.
- A clean full Class 1 driver's licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, professional, and reliable.
- Exceptional time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility with working hours and locations within the Hawera region.
- Tech-savvy with a 'can-do' attitude.
