About The Position
This position assists our grain operations team with the loading and unloading of trucks at the scale house & elevator to which the employee is assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age to operate the scale and eighteen to work in the elevator
- Must have your own reliable source of transportation to and from the job site (you may be working at a country elevator which could be several miles away from town)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to do basic manual labor
- This job requires long hours
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Dumping and loading trucks at the elevator
- Sweeping dump pits and general cleaning/upkeep duties
- Weighing trucks and sampling grain for moisture, weight, and condition
- Data entry
- Other duties as assigned
