The Andersons, Inc. - Greenville, Ohio As a Seasonal Grain Operations Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our grain operations. You'll have the chance to work closely with our experienced team, learning and honing your skills while making a meaningful impact on the success of our operation. All individuals must be flexible as work schedules can vary based on business needs. Position Summary This role is responsible for performing operations activities in the areas of Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) loadout, inspection, and general operations.

Requirements

• Minimal job-related experience
• Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
• Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred
• Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time
• Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet

Nice To Haves

• Previous grain operations experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities such as probing trucks
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to drivers and perform data entry of shipment details
• Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or escalate issues when necessary
• Operate various types of mobile equipment
• Assist with the movement of railcars
• Perform general housekeeping activities
