About The Position

Mercer Landmark is seeking several seasonal Grain Admins/Operators to work through December 1st. This role involves an average of 72 hours per week, working 12-hour days, 6 days a week. A $4000 bonus will be awarded at the end of the harvest season for completing the full 12 weeks. The position requires ample availability during this 12-week period. The core responsibilities include performing various duties such as cleaning, organizing, setting up and closing operations, assisting with facility and equipment maintenance, and supporting business goals.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
Basic reading skills
Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment
Willingness and ability to perform manual work following instructions
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.

Some experience driving a forklift.

Responsibilities

Working outside and in the facility doing various tasks as needed.
Admin duties including answering phone, counter sales, inbound and outbound trucks, grain testing and all other general office duties as needed.
Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly facility.
Serving our patrons in a manner that promotes our company, promotes customer service and delivers our patrons the services they need to succeed with their operations.
Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
