About The Position

Champions Retreat Golf Club is seeking energetic, highly motivated, and dependable candidates for full-time seasonal positions in Golf Course Maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to gain knowledge and training in operating specialized equipment for golf course maintenance tasks. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, working in a fun atmosphere, and experiencing the weather Augusta has to offer. The seasonal period is from July 2026 to October 2026. There may be potential for progressive advancement within the team. While industry experience is a plus, it is not a requirement for employment.

Requirements

• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays, overtime, and be flexible with changes as requested.
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in varying weather conditions with potential exposure to inclement weather.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
• May be required to work in an environment that includes such activities as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
• May need to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of landscape maintenance or greenkeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions and routine golf course maintenance related activities at one work location.
• Assist in ensuring the maintenance facility, equipment and tools are clean, organized, and safe and report any deficiencies to management.
• Participate in training related to proper equipment operation and safety procedures required to perform each task.
