About The Position

Cher-Make is hiring seasonal full-time employees to work from June through November in one of four production areas: Packaging, Stuffing, Smoking, or Sanitation. Candidates who apply will have the opportunity to tour the plant, see each department, and choose the job area that interests them most. These roles support food production and may include preparing, packaging, labeling, and boxing finished product; loading and monitoring product during stuffing operations; operating and monitoring smokehouses and product temperatures; cleaning equipment and production areas to meet sanitation standards; following SOPs, GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and safety requirements; and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. We are looking for dependable team members who are ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience is helpful, but training is provided for applicable roles already documented in current Cher-Make materials. Strong performers may have the opportunity to be considered for full-time permanent positions at Cher-Make following the seasonal assignment based on performance and business needs.
