About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for seasonal logistics roles in Fulfillment and Delivery at its Fashion Valley store. Candidates may attend the hiring event on Thursday, October 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; no advance appointment is required. Applicants should follow signs or ask a Nordstrom employee for the event location. A resume is welcome but not required, and the interview process takes approximately one hour. On-the-spot offers will be made for most roles. Applications remain under consideration even if the applicant cannot attend the event. The role requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift and frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and hand use to handle merchandise and assist customers. Employees handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching overhead to lift them. Regular lifting is up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; employees frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The stated pay range for Fulfillment and Delivery is $18.85–$19.65 per hour. Pay offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Requirements

Able to remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift.
Able to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, reach, and use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Able to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including lifting items above the head.
Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Handle merchandise and assist customers.
