About The Position
Chevron’s Vancouver Fuel Dock team is seeking Seasonal Fuel Attendants to join them for the summer season, running from early May until early September. This role is perfect for students looking for flexible spring/summer work or anyone interested in gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and customer-facing environment. Fuel Attendants will work as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Chevron Fuel Dock, located just east of Stanley Park. This is an exciting opportunity to enjoy Vancouver’s beautiful waterfront while earning a competitive wage.
Requirements
- Available for a 4-5 month term beginning in early May.
- Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the country in which they applied.
- Candidates must be available for the four summer long weekends: May Long, BC Day, Canada Day, and Labour Day.
Nice To Haves
- A valid Vessel Operator’s Card is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Chevron Fuel Dock in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to dock visitors and assist with fueling vessels.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Support team operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dock.
