About The Position

We are seeking a Seasonal Food Expeditor to join our team from May through October. As a Food Expeditor at The Point, you will play a vital role in ensuring food orders are prepared accurately, plated correctly, and delivered promptly. You will be the key link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, helping to maintain smooth service and an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or kitchen role preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and work in a high-energy environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the communication link between kitchen staff and servers to ensure orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Inspect final food presentation for accuracy, quality, and proper portioning before serving.
  • Ensure plates are garnished properly and meet The Point’s presentation standards.
  • Organize and prioritize tickets to maintain efficient workflow in the kitchen.
  • Assist in coordinating the timing of food preparation to ensure guests receive their meals together.
  • Maintain a clean and organized expediting station.
  • Communicate with the kitchen and service teams to resolve any order issues quickly.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
