About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting the food and beverage operations by managing warehouse stock and ensuring timely delivery of products to various locations within the park. The Warehouse Host plays a crucial part in maintaining product availability and upholding quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in customer service, forklift operation, decision-making, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Connecticut Child Labor Laws
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work until later hours of the evening, from open to close
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
• Ability to comply with all uniform policies
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years previous warehouse experience a plus but not required
• Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of products while maintaining a clean work area
• Perform all warehouse duties while following all established safety procedures and using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests
• Unload trucks and count quantities to verify delivered amounts
• Process, receive, rotate, and correctly store retail, paper products, food, and food product items within the warehouse (which includes dry storage, frozen and refrigerated areas)
• Deliver orders from the warehouse to the individual retail stands, concessions, catering areas, and other facilities (by pick-up truck/golf cart, van, hand cart and/or by hand)
• Complete orders and responsibilities in a quick and responsive manner
• Ensures ice is delivered to designated locations before park opening and throughout the day as needed
• Monitor stock levels of the warehouse and communicate any shortages in orders and inventory to the management team
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Conduct product inventories on a routine basis
• Complete and update daily inventory logs
• Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor
• Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and warehouse equipment
• Assist at other F&B locations or with catering events, as needed
• Perform all other duties assigned by leadership
