About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Seasonal Flat Rigger to join our team located in Perrysburg, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with team members to cut and assemble window screen frames to changing specifications, using a computer-driven measuring device. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Capability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Monitor products constantly to ensure quality standards.
Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
Follows safety procedures and guidelines; and notifies others of existing or potential safety issues.
Assist in other work areas when workload permits or requires.
Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
Thoroughly complete all documentation, such as production reports.
Assemble various components based on customer specifications and quality standards.
Thoroughly inspect products for defects or errors.
Verify size, color, and configuration of production utilizing labeling systems.
Collaborate with team members to cut and assemble window screen frames to changing specifications, using a computer-driven measuring device.
