About The Position
Enliven Planters is hiring hands-on, outdoor-loving individuals to join our seasonal gardening and installation team. If you’d rather work in the sunshine than under fluorescent lights — and enjoy physical, meaningful work — read on. At Enliven Planters, our mission is to make the world a more beautiful and enjoyable place to live. We design, install, and maintain hand-crafted seasonal flower arrangements at homes and businesses across Greater Philadelphia, transforming neighborhoods into lush, blooming green spaces four times a year. We’re proud of our craftsmanship, our team culture, and the visible impact we make every day. As a Seasonal Gardener, you’ll be on the front lines of making Philadelphia bloom. This is a physically active, outdoor role where each day starts at our shop loading trucks with plants and materials before heading out on a set route to complete installations and refresh seasonal planters. Employment period: March through mid-December Hours vary by season and business needs. Most employees work full-time hours during spring, summer, fall and winter installation periods, with reduced schedules during slower periods. Natural winter break
Requirements
- Enjoy physical, outdoor work in all kinds of weather
- Able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, including regularly lifting and moving materials weighing up to 65 pounds and working from ladders.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and take pride in your work
- Dependable and comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
- Valid driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture, construction, or manual labor (helpful but not required — we provide training for the right candidates!)
- Appreciate seasonal work with a built-in winter break
Responsibilities
- Loading trucks with plants, soil, containers, and tools
- Driving company vehicles to residential and commercial job sites (valid driver’s license required)
- Installing and refreshing seasonal planters with attention to quality and efficiency
- Working independently and in small teams outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Meeting daily installation and delivery goals
- Supporting various in-house shop projects as needed
- Representing Enliven Planters professionally and kindly in the community
