About The Position

Under the direction of the Farm Manager, this role is responsible for creating family memories for each and every guest. This position involves direct interaction with guests, handling transactions, and ensuring a fun and safe experience on the farm. The work environment is dependent on outdoor conditions, which may be hot or cold.

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, which are furnished in written and oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving standard and nonstandard situations.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Commitment to superior customer service.
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Follow and interpret quantity recipes to prepare a volume of quality bakery items while maintaining proper temperature and sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Farm Manager.
• Welcome guests to the farm and answer any questions that they might have.
• Direct guests to other areas on the farm.
• Handle cash, check, credit card and gift certificate payments
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by the Farm Manager.
• Communicate with the rest of the farm employees ensuring that each guest has a fun and safe experience
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned
