About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is seeking motivated and dependable individuals for a flexible seasonal opportunity as an Entry-Level Tax Preparer. This role is ideal for those looking to earn extra money, learn a valuable skill, and help people. No previous tax experience is required, as comprehensive training, tools, and support will be provided. As a Tax Preparer, you will work one-on-one with clients to prepare tax returns, answer questions, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position offers the chance to build valuable tax knowledge, develop client relationships, and gain transferable skills.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) prior to preparing tax returns.
- Enjoy helping people.
- Have strong communication and people skills.
- Are comfortable using a computer.
- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Are dependable and ready to learn.
- No accounting, finance, or tax background required.
