About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is seeking motivated and dependable individuals for a flexible seasonal opportunity as an Entry-Level Tax Preparer. This role is ideal for those looking to earn extra money, learn a valuable skill, and help people. No previous tax experience is required, as the company provides comprehensive training, tools, and support. As a Tax Preparer, you will work one-on-one with clients to prepare tax returns, answer questions, and deliver exceptional customer service, while building valuable tax knowledge and client relationships.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) prior to preparing tax returns.
- Enjoy helping people.
- Have strong communication and people skills.
- Are comfortable using a computer.
- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Are dependable and ready to learn.
- No accounting, finance, or tax background required.
