Seasonal Ecological Restoration Technician - North

This is a seasonal entry-level position performing all types of in-the-field work with a diverse crew of awesome people. Seasonal work that can lead to full time employment. Work may sometimes take place on difficult terrain and during adverse weather conditions. Our work tasks change more often than the seasons! Every month is different!
Requirements
- Driver’s license is a plus.
- Functional in basic measurement units (inches, feet, ounces, pounds)
- A passion for the outdoors, nature, or plants!
- Ability to follow oral/written directions.
- Ability to read a map.
- Develop effective working relationships with other employees.
Responsibilities
- Brush clearing and site preparation activities.
- Installation of native plants, seed, and erosion control materials.
- Stewardship activities include mowing, hand pulling of weeds, and herbicide application to control invasive species.
- Application of prescribed fire.
