About The Position

This position is responsible for driving a Salvation Army vehicle to transport passengers and Red Kettle equipment to bell ringing locations. The role involves ensuring the safe transportation of bell ringers and equipment, as well as picking up donations and other items as needed. The driver must adhere to all traffic laws and safety precautions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Two years’ experience operating an automotive vehicle.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to drive a vehicle in heavy traffic and extended trips.
• Valid Driver’s License and must meet TSA MVR Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation for bell ringers to kettle sites and the Corps.
• Picks-up Angel Tree donations from various sites for transport to warehouse.
• Picks-up and delivers miscellaneous items as needed.
• Drives carefully and observes/complies with all traffic signs and road/weather conditions to ensure the safety of passengers.
