About The Position
Zingerman's Bakehouse is hiring Seasonal Dishwashers to work on our team as we make hand crafted, artisan pastries and bread to be enjoyed all over the country! This is an active, physical job with fun and engaged teammates who support each other. You will learn Zingerman’s nationally-acclaimed business practices and put them into action. This role offers a discount at all Zingerman’s businesses and lots of free food.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, lift and bend for up to 8-hours, with breaks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work in a warm, humid environment
- Ability to work with repetitive motion including fine manipulation of hands and fingers
- Availability for 40 hours each week in November and December
- No dishwashing experience required

Responsibilities
- Loading 140 quart mixing bowls into our walk-in size industrial dish washing machine
- Running smallwares through a conveyor style industrial dish washing machine
- Hand washing coffee cake pans in a 3 compartment sink
- Monitoring and logging the temperatures of dish machines
- Putting away dry dishes
- Keeping the dish area floor dry
