About The Position

Concord Parking is seeking customer-focused Seasonal Curbside Ambassadors to support curbside operations at Vancouver International Airport. This is a highly active, customer-facing role where you will help manage traffic flow, assist passengers, and ensure a smooth and safe airport experience. This is a temporary opportunity with potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
Ability to pass a 3rd-party assessment (TestGorilla)
Availability to work flexible/rotating shifts (including nights)
3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience
Experience in fast-paced or high-volume environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service mindset with conflict resolution ability
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Must successfully complete Traffic Control Person Training (provided)

Nice To Haves

Parking, aviation, or traffic control experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
Additional language skills (French or others)
Traffic Safety Control certification

Responsibilities

Manage curbside traffic and enforce parking regulations
Provide wayfinding assistance and customer service to passengers
Support operations across: Passenger pick-up and drop-off zones, Taxi stands and commercial vehicle areas, Domestic and international arrivals
Communicate with Ground Transportation Dispatch and supervisors
Ensure continuous traffic flow and public safety
Proactively engage with drivers and passengers to provide guidance
Accurately report incidents and operational issues
Use radio communication for coordination and break coverage
Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Ability to stand and walk outdoors for 8–10 hour shifts
Ability to walk 10–15 km per shift
