About The Position

The Seasonal Concessions Coordinator oversees Walsh Jesuit Athletics concession operations during the Fall athletic season (August–October). Working with the Athletics Department, food service provider, and team/booster representatives, the coordinator ensures concession stands are appropriately staffed, stocked, organized, and prepared for designated home athletic events. This is a seasonal, event-based position, with most responsibilities occurring during weekday evenings, along with occasional Saturday afternoon or evening events.

Requirements

• Ability to work weekday evenings and occasional Saturday afternoons or evenings.
• Experience in food service or event coordination is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage volunteers effectively.
• Basic cash handling and financial reconciliation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with athletic departments or booster clubs.
• Familiarity with Walsh Jesuit Athletics or AVI food service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession operations at designated Fall athletic events.
• Coordinate with team/booster liaisons to recruit and schedule parent volunteers.
• Work with the Walsh Jesuit food service provider (AVI) to order food, beverages, and necessary supplies.
• Ensure concession stands are stocked, organized, clean, and ready before each event.
• Train and assist volunteers with concession procedures, equipment, food service, and cash handling.
• Manage cash bags, deposits, and financial reconciliation with the Athletic/Business Office.
• Monitor inventory and prepare concession stands for upcoming events.
• Assist with additional tournaments, postseason contests, or major events as assigned by the Athletics Department.
