Fair Count seeks a Seasonal Community Organizer based outside of metro Atlanta to engage community members, faith leaders, local organizations, and service providers in historically undercounted populations (HUP). This role supports on-the-ground civic engagement efforts, with a focus on the General Election and redistricting initiatives. The Seasonal Community Organizer reports to the Director of Organizing and may also work under the guidance of a Lead Organizer. This position is strictly nonpartisan. As a 501(c)(3) organization, Fair Count does not participate in electioneering or support for any political candidate or party. Seasonal Community Organizers are community-centered, relationship-driven professionals who are passionate about civic engagement. They are knowledgeable about their local regions and skilled at building trust with diverse stakeholders. This role requires strong time management, adaptability, and a willingness to engage both in-person and virtually. Organizers are expected to meet outreach goals, contribute to team efforts, and continuously learn and apply effective engagement strategies. Success in this role requires initiative, accountability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
