About The Position
The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving. This is a seasonal position with the opportunity to earn extra money for the holidays and enjoy an Outfitter Discount. The company is holding a National Hiring Event on Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th from 10 am to 7 pm at Cabela’s 9810 Quil Ceda Blvd. Tulalip, WA 98271, where candidates can interview for various positions on the spot. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
- Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
- Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
- Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Seldom/Never sits.
- Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system.
- Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system.
- Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment.
- Unloads trucks as needed.
- Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise.
- Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies.
- Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
