Responsibilities

Assist in all aspects of set-up and break-down for events, including lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Serve guests with a dedication to detail, ensuring their needs are met.
Become familiar with the catering menu and answer customer questions.
Maintain a courteous and well-mannered demeanor throughout the event.
Review event worksheets to understand event details, timeline, bar type, and food.
Set up the bar area and appropriate glassware.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, answer questions about ingredients, and make suggestions.
Verify legal drinking age of guests served alcohol.
Clean up the bar area and pack beverages at the end of the event.
Assist with the general breakdown of the event.
Responsible for the safe transport of food, drinks, and equipment to event venues.
Manage all aspects of the event including set-up, serving meals and beverages, and take-down.
Carry out the Sales Event Coordinator's plan and adapt to different venues for service flow.
Lead a team of co-captains, servers, and bartenders.
Maintain good communication with the event host.
Be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues.
Create an environment that supports and develops team members.
