About The Position

We’re looking for motivated Cashiers to join our restaurant and bar team for the summer season. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with guests, and takes pride in contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Must have or be able to obtain ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Certification
Competent in handling payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
Effective communication skills with guests and team members
Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and inform them of specials or promotions
Verify guest identification to ensure legal age for alcohol service
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accept cash and process credit card payments accurately
Wrap and bag to-go orders efficiently and with care
Assist other restaurant staff as needed to maintain smooth operations
Anticipate guest needs and provide a professional, friendly experience
Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure restaurant is fully prepared for service
Maintain all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines
