About The Position
This position is for a Seasonal Cafe Team Member at the Bean Sprouts Café located inside the Santa Ana Zoo. Bean Sprouts Café is a women-owned, award-winning, hip & healthy café concept that focuses on providing yummy, good-for-you food for children and a happier mealtime for adults. The company is rapidly expanding and offers advancement opportunities and leadership growth. This role is ideal for students seeking part-time positions for weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and dedication to excellent customer service.
- Have a Food Handlers Permit. If you don't have one yet, we will help you get one.
- Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
- Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
Nice To Haves
- Food service or retail experience
- Amazing attitudes, and a passion for the Bean Sprouts culture and customer experience.
- Back of house/kitchen experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests enthusiastically and provide an exceptional guest experience
- Take orders, receive payments, and assist guests
- Prepare food and beverages
- Maintain a clean and sanitized dining area and front of house
- Any additional tasks needed to run the day-to-day café operations as assigned
