About The Position
Represent The Salvation Army during the Christmas Kettle Campaign by ringing bells and providing a welcoming, respectful presence. Bell ringers stand at a kettle, greet passersby, thank donors, and provide basic information about The Salvation Army when asked. They must arrive on time, complete scheduled shifts, and follow safety guidelines. They must not solicit or pressure people to donate.
Requirements
- Friendly, positive, and outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and ring a small hand bell.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to follow the dress code outlined in the agreement.
- Ability to communicate and represent The Salvation Army’s mission respectfully.
- Must pass all required background checks.
