About The Position

Under the direction of the Parks Foreman, provide customer service to all guests, monitor guests while inside the facility and assist with the cleanliness of facility area. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must have prior customer service experience.
Must be able to work independently.
Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License, or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of employment, with a driving record acceptable to the City of Canon City.
Any acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the listed knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.

Responsibilities

Monitor guests as they enter and exit the Splash Pad.
Monitor guests during their utilization of splash pad and enforce safety rules and guidelines.
Assist patrons with questions and/or concerns; assist in incidents and/or accidents.
Monitor facility for trash and debris and perform appropriate cleanup and disinfection.
Regularly check pool chemical levels and document readings.
Enforce established policy and procedures throughout the facility.
Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers including but not limited to effectively listening and communicating, providing accurate information, offering solutions, assisting in resolution, and ensuring timely follow up as needed.
Assist other splash pad attendants with tasks as directed.
Assist coworkers and patrons with identifying and addressing other customer service concerns.
